About the only big mistake you could make in picking Frisco as home would be thinking you would be living "out in the country." Frisco isn't staying small for long, and it won't be out in the country much longer. Frisco has been growing so fast (over 100,000 people have moved here in just the past 12 years)! Located on the edge of the Dallas-Plano northern business center, Frisco is poised for even more growth. In fact, Frisco is booming!   All roads lead to Frisco, seemingly. The city is ideally situated to take care of transportation needs in the future. The North Dallas Tollway now reaches IH 121, Frisco's southern boundary. A two-lane tollway service road also is now complete and extends north of Highway 380 .   Educationally, again Frisco is a winner. In addition to the many programs that the Frisco ISD offers, the district also places a strong emphasis on computer training.   Recreational opportunities abound in the Frisco area. Golfers have many great courses to choose from, hockey, baseball, socker stadiums just to name a few things! There are two major annual pro golf tournaments drawing big crowds each year in Frisco. The Frisco Community Theatre, Stonebriar Mall, stores galore all over the place, and best of all - the brand new stadium for our minor league baseball team "The Rough Riders." |
